Estelle Demontrond-Box holds the Chartered Institute of Linguists' Diploma in Translation (Business and Law - From English into French) and is a member of the Institute. She is currently working as a freelance Translator and Proofreader from English to French. She is dedicated, hard-working, reliable and respect deadlines.
She mainly translates general, educational, literary, commercial and legal materials.
She is also working as a freelance Writer and Copy-Editor: she writes educational material in French (such as teachers' notes, articles, fictions and transcriptions). She has also recently completed a novel for children entitled "Le Pacte des Bouffons" (available on http://www.lulu.com/) and is now working on a new project for younger children.
Estelle has teaching experience as a Tutor and a Teacher of French as a Foreign Language in England and as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language in France, and is qualified in both countries (she holds the CAPES, equivalent of the PGCE).

Education both in France and in the UK gives Estelle Demontrond-Box a good knowledge of English and French and living in both countries has given her a good knowledge and understanding of both cultures.
Education and qualifications (Bachelor of Arts, Masters of English Linguistics, CAPES & Diploma in Translation) have given Estelle the opportunity to develop her skills to translate literary documents.
Experience in teaching and writing for children gives her a solid background to translate educational material.
